Samaritans shoe box appeal
This term, we have been learning all about families around the world and how everyone is different and special in their own way. We talked about how some children live in places where life can be very hard, and how some might not get any presents at Christmas. To help make a difference, we decided to join the Samaritans Shoebox Appeal. The children really enjoyed choosing small gifts, toys, and useful items to pack into the boxes. It was a lovely way to show kindness and to think about others at Christmas time.
Forest school fun- learning through play
We have kicked off our autumn term with our first exciting Forest School sessions, led by the Forest School leader at Park Road School. These sessions have been specially planned to suit our preschool children and give them wonderful opportunities to learn through nature. We believe that working with our local community is very important, and spending time outdoors helps children grow in confidence, curiosity, and teamwork. The children have enjoyed exploring the woodland, collecting leaves and sticks, building dens, and spotting signs of autumn all around them. Learning in nature helps us to be creative, care for the environment, and have lots of fun together!

Welcome to our new purpose-built enclosed bedding area, now open and ready for the children to enjoy every day! This enchanting space offers endless opportunities for planting, digging, and the mystical world of fairies. With its vibrant design and engaging activities, children can immerse themselves in nature and spark their creativity in a safe and nurturing environment. We are excited to see their imaginations flourish as they interact with this magical area!
